Fabric stiffening agent,Shrinkage control

Provides rigidity and stabilizes cotton fabrics to improve shrinkage control during finishing processes.

Properties

• Viscous opaque/yellowish liquid with density between 1.1 - 1.3 g/cm3.
• pH range: 11.0 - 12.0.
• Easily dilutes in cold water with agitation.
• Compatible with other auxiliaries; preliminary lab tests recommended.
• Stable for at least 6 months when stored between 5–25°C.
• Designed for finishing denim cotton fabrics, including elastic blends.

Uses

• Finishing of 100% cotton denim fabrics and elastic blends.
• Used for selvage sizing and improving shrinkage control.
• Compatible with softening agents.
• Removable without enzymatic treatment using hot water wash (85°C) with 2.0 g/l sodium carbonate.
